To Approve the May 9, 2011, City Council meeting <br /> minutes as presented. <br /> Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 11. REPORTS <br /> A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> Mayor Flaherty reported a toddler died at the Shoreview Chiropractic Clinic last Thursday and <br /> was a resident of Mounds View. This was a tragic accident and a trust fund has been established <br /> by National Finance Services in Cambridge, Minnesota. He stated the City's thoughts and <br /> prayers were with this family. <br /> Mayor Flaherty read a letter received from Jennifer Jackson regarding the construction on <br /> Jackson Drive and the professionalism of the construction workers. He thanked her for the letter. <br /> Mayor Flaherty reviewed the median home sales for the City of Mounds View stating there were <br /> eight homes sales already in 2011. He stated there were only six home sales in 2010. <br /> Council Member Mueller reported the Irondale High School graduation was last week. She <br /> • noted she attended the Mounds View Business Council meeting last Wednesday where Ramsey <br /> County Commissioner Tony Bennett provided an update on the TCAAP property and valuable <br /> information on the proposed development with the Minnesota Vikings. <br /> Council Member Mueller apologized for not being able to attend the recent Corvette Specialties <br /> Car Show this past weekend. She heard it was a wonderful event and looked forward to the next <br /> event at the State Fair Grounds. Council Member Mueller encouraged all to attend the Festival <br /> in the Park on Saturday, August 20`h <br /> Council Member Mueller stated she would be attending the League of Minnesota Cities <br /> conference in Rochester this coming Thursday through Saturday. She would report back to the <br /> Council at a future meeting on the event. <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> City Administrator Ericson indicated he had drafted a letter to the Ramsey County <br /> Commissioners regarding the potential development of the TCAAP site with the Minnesota <br /> Vikings. The letter addressed noise issues, environmental issues, access, etc. This could be <br /> further discussed in work session as well. <br /> Council Member Stigney recommended air quality issues be addressed within the letter as the air <br /> quality has been changed from good to fair in the north metro area. In addition, payment for the <br /> development should be addressed. He did not want to see the County circumvent the Charter <br /> • requirements. <br />
