Mounds View City Council September 12,2011 <br /> Regular Meeting Page 10 <br /> • <br /> Mayor Flaherty explained the Resolution would make the County aware of the City's concerns <br /> with the proposed development. He supported the construction of a stadium based on the items <br /> spelled out within the Resolution. <br /> Council Member Stigney questioned why Ramsey County had not passed a Resolution of <br /> Support for the stadium, when it was being requested from neighboring cities. <br /> Ayes—3 Nays—2(Hull and Stigney) Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Stigney indicated he would like the Resolution to show that he did not support <br /> the Resolution 7821. <br /> Council Member Gunn stated this has not been the practice of the Council in the past. <br /> Mayor Flaherty explained the Council acted as a body and he was not aware of this request being <br /> granted. <br /> City Administrator Ericson stated the actions of the Council would be well reflected within the <br /> minutes. He stated the individual making the motion and second would also be clear. <br /> Council Member Stigney requested a roll call vote be taken on the Resolution to allow his vote to <br /> be reflected on the Resolution. • <br /> Council Member Mueller indicated the Council was moving forward with a consensus on the <br /> Resolution of Support. She did not see a need to revote on this issue. <br /> Council Member Gunn did not oppose the revote. <br /> Council Member Mueller stated she was proud of the resolution and the voice it would be giving <br /> the City of Mounds View. <br /> Council Member Hull did not support the revote. <br /> Mayor Flaherty was not in favor of the revote either. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Mueller. To Reconsider the Motion for Resolution 7821 and that <br /> the Vote be Clearly Specified on the Resolution. <br /> Council riiember Stigney indicated.. h o waited his von be cl= to the County Board.
