Proper notice was sent out by the City to surrounding <br /> properties within 300 feet of Big Top Liquor and published in the City’s official newspaper. She indicated property taxes were current, along with all City utilities and the Mounds <br /> View Police and Fire Department issued a satisfactory report. The City had not yet received the criminal background check. Staff recommended approval of the off sale intoxicating <br /> liquor license pending receipt of a satisfactory criminal background check. However, the Mounds View Police Department reported SuperAmerica failed a compliance check in December of 2011. Another compliance check would be completed <br /> before June 30, 2012. She explained the City had not yet received the criminal background check. Staff recommended approval of the off sale intoxicating liquor license pending receipt <br /> of a satisfactory criminal background check and successful completion of the compliance check.
