MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />3. ROLL CALL: Flaherty, Stigney, Hull, Mueller, Gunn. <br /> <br /> NOT PRESENT: None. <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> A. Monday, July 9, 2012, City Council Agenda. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson requested the approval of the May 29, 2012 City Council minutes be moved to the July 23rd meeting. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Approve the Monday, July 9, 2012, agenda as amended. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> A. Presentation and Review of the SBM Fire Department Annual Report <br /> <br />Fire Chief Zikmund presented the Council with copies of the fire department’s annual report and noted this was the department’s 42nd printing of the annual report. He noted the department <br /> recently received an award from the Minneapolis/Star Tribune noting the SBM Fire Department was rated one of the top workplaces out of 400 companies that applied. He was proud of the <br /> work completed by the department and of his staff. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty congratulated the Fire Chief and the Council then offered the Fire Department a round of applause.
