The Council was not in favor of repainting the signals at this time as <br />it would be too costly. <br />City Administrator Ericson noted he attended the Lambert Park Grand Opening. He indicated <br />the Charter Commission met two weeks ago and discussed reviewing and updating Chapter 8 of <br />the Charter. A future joint meeting between the City Council and Charter Commission was <br />being planned. <br />Public Works Director DeBar discussed a change in the water pressure yesterday stating a valve <br />was stuck open and did not allow the water tower to fill back up. He commented the system still <br />had pressure and was fixed in less than an hour by Public Works staff. He apologized for any <br />inconvenience this caused the residents. <br />Council Member Stigney recommended the Mounds View Matters have an emergency number <br />for water concerns be placed on the back cover. <br />Public Works Director DeBar noted the Parks Commission met several weeks ago and discussed <br />the open seats. He commented the group discussed the number of members that should be on the <br />Park Commission as it was currently at seven, but used to be nine. There was a new member <br />interested in serving that was a licensed forester. <br />Mayor Flaherty suggested the new member be steered to another committee. <br />C. Reports of City Attorney. <br />City Attorney Riggs reviewed his monthly report with the Council. <br />12.
