Mounds View City Council September 11, 2000 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />Acting City Administrator Ulrich was not present. Community Development Director Jopke sat <br />in as acting City Administrator. <br />City Attorney Long indicated a need to add one item to the agenda regarding Resolution Number <br />5478 putting Ordinance No. 661 proposing to amend Chapter 6 of the Mounds View City <br />Charter relating to a City Manager form of government and Ordinance No. 662 proposing to <br />amend Chapter 2 of the Mounds View City Charter changing the term of the Office of Mayor <br />from two (2) to four (4) years and fixing the form of the ballot as prepared by City Attorney <br />Long to City voters at the upcoming November 7, 2000 General Election. <br />Assistant to the City Administrator Reed explained the primary election will be held on Tuesday, <br />September 12, 2000 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. She also indicated confusion as to the <br />location of the polling place and clarified the location to be the Mounds View Community Center <br />on Edgewood Drive. <br />No further reports were considered. <br />7. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Approve Just and Correct Claims. <br />B. Licenses for Approval. -This item was previously removed from the agenda. <br />C. Adopt Resolution No. 5467 Calling for a Public Hearing By the City Council on <br />the Proposed Modifications to the Tax Increment Financing Plans For Tax <br />Increment Financing Districts NOS. 1, 2, 3 Within the Mounds View Economic <br />Development Project Area. <br />D. Consider Resolution No. 5468 Adopting Affirmative Action Plan. <br />E. Consider Resolution No. 5469 Granting Variance of Street Light Installation <br />Standards. <br />F. Consider Resolution No. 5470 Ratifying the Public Works Bargaining Unit <br />Contract 2001 - 2002. <br />G. Consider Resolution No. 5471 Extending Health Insurance Contribution for <br />Public Works Bargaining Unit and Non-Union City Employees. <br />H. Consideration of Resolution No. 5474, Requesting that Ramsey County <br />Investigate and Implement Pedestrian Safety Improvements on County Highway <br />10. <br />I. Police Civil Service Commission Eligibility and Standing List for Hiring- <br />. Approval. <br />J. Approval of Resolution 5475, a Resolution Approving aOne-Year Extension of a <br />Conditional Use Permit for a Senior Assisted Living Facility at 2670 County <br />Road I, requested by MSP Real Estate, Inc. <br />K. Set a Public Hearing for 7:05 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2000 to Consider <br />Resolution 5476, a Resolution Approving the Development Stage of the Proposed <br />Mermaid PUD. <br />
