Consideration of Well Maintenance Bids. <br />Public Works Director Ulrich noted he had received two quotes for well maintenance indicating <br />it had been nine years since this was done. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Approve the Well Maintenance Bid as Presented by <br />Staff. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />E. Consideration of Resolution 5537, a Resolution Awarding and Authorizing <br />Execution of a Contract for the Highway 10 Reconstruction and <br />Revitalization Corridor Study. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Thomas/Marty. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 5537, a <br />Resolution Awarding and Authorizing Execution of a Contract for the Highway 10 <br />Reconstruction and Revitalization Corridor Study as Presented by Staff. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />r~ <br /> <br />Council Member Marty thanked Director Ericson for researching the issue and providing <br />information to Council. <br />F. Consideration of Mower Purchase. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Thomas. To Approve the Mower Purchase as Recommended by <br />Staff. <br />Council Member Marty questioned whether the mower had equipment that would enable it to be <br />used during the winter. <br />Public Works Director Ulrich indicated the mower could be used in inclement weather in the <br />spring and fall but noted the mower would not be used during winter conditions. <br />Council Member Stigney questioned whether the old equipment would be sold or used as a trade <br />in for the new mower. <br />Public Works Director Ulrich stated he would attempt to sell the old mower and if no bids were <br />received he would use it as a trade in for the new mower. <br />Council Member Stigney expressed a concern for budgeting for one amount and then taking <br />contingency money out of the water fund to cover the purchase. <br />
