Mounds View City Council December 10, 2001 <br />Regular Meeting Page 26 <br />Council Member Marty indicated that releasing the check would go a long way toward <br />maintaining a good working relationship. <br />Council Member Marty questioned the cell phone usage for Bob Nelson as he had never seen the <br />name before. <br />Acting Chief Brennan indicated he is the School Resource Officer that teaches the dare program <br />and explained that the contract requires that he have a cell phone. He then explained that he was <br />using the police department cell phone but was unable to obtain a cell in most of the school <br />building so he had to sign up with a different carrier. He then indicated that other options were <br />purchased but stated the reimbursement request is only for the amounts allowed by the City. <br />Council Member Marty indicated he would like information on Check Number 107174 for <br />expense reimbursement. <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated he would provide the information with the packet that goes <br />out at the end of the week. <br />Council Member Marty questioned whether the fees paid to Kennedy and Graven on the <br />Highway 10 billboard would be recovered from the billboard company. <br />Community Development Director Ericson indicated that the funds would be recovered from the <br />billboard company. <br />Acting Mayor Stigney questioned whether repair of the public works garage door was a product <br />of improper installation and, if so, if the City should be paying for them to fix it. <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated he was not sure. <br />Acting Mayor Stigney requested that Finance Director Hansen provide him with information <br />concerning the repair and whether or not the City could have requested that the company repair it <br />at their own expense due to improper installation. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Thomas. To Approve Just and Correct Claims. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />Council recessed at 10:00 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 10:08 p.m. <br />G.
