Council will have a <br /> resolution on their February 10, 2025 meeting for authorization to pay restoration and <br /> painting invoice. Additional funds needed for installation. <br /> Staff was also directed to seek grants of which a grant to Twin City Gateway has been <br /> submitted. That grant requested an "Event Name." The grant is specific to funding <br /> "marketing/advertising" of the event with a match required (but that does not have to be <br /> for the marketing, rather can be for the event). The grant is a maximum $5,000. Our <br /> "investment" in the restoration will far exceed that. <br /> Action Requested: <br /> Come up with an "Event Name" that we can start marketing. As you can see from the <br /> photos — our Siren of the Sea (French), Sea Maiden, Naiad, Water Nymph, Oceanid, <br /> Merrow Maiden (Irish), Ariel (Disney) is looking very spiffy-fishy! <br />
