Mr. Paulseth has been employed by the City for 2 years (November 21, 2022). Attached is Resolution 10049, which authorizes separation compensation to Mr. Paulseth in accordance with the City's Personnel Manual and Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit Labor Agreement. Discussion Section 5.03 of the City of Mounds View Personnel Manual states employees leaving in good standing will receive a lump-sum compensation for all accrued vacation and compensation time. Article 28 of the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit Labor Agreement states employees with two (2) or more years of service will contribute their eligible sick leave hours to the Retirement Health Savings Plan. The following represents estimated separation compensation eligible to Mr. Paulseth: Hours Hourly rate Payout Vacation Hours 144.65 $40.83 $5,906.06 Cash Payout Compensatory Hours 13.50 $40.83 $ 551.21 Cash Payout Sick Leave 40.13 $40.83 $1,638.51 Into RHSP 80.25 = 50%= 40.13 Estimated Total Separation Compensation: $8,095.78 Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Resolution 10049 Authorizing Separation Compensation for Public Works Arborist/Parks Worker Kris Paulseth.
