Item No. 5.H. <br /> mou--Nms VWWMeeting Date: February A e2025 <br /> nda Type of Business: Consent Agenda <br /> Administrator Review: <br /> City of Mounds View Staff Report <br /> To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From: Gayle Bauman, Finance Director <br /> Item Title/Subject: Resolution 10056 Approving Budget Carryovers from 2024 to 2025 <br /> Background: <br /> A few items included in the 2024 budget were not completed and these unspent monies need to <br /> be carried over from one year to the next so budget amounts are better matched with revenues <br /> and expenditures. <br /> Discussion: <br /> There is no budget impact to the City as the request is for budget funds to be moved from 2024 <br /> to 2025 so they match up better with corresponding costs. These items are: <br /> Funds to replace mowers - $29,000 <br /> City copiers - $37,000 <br /> Community Engagement Committee unspent budget - $860 <br /> Park System Master Plan WSB costs - $20,240 <br /> Also, the PW Office Remodel was budgeted for 2025. A portion of the work was completed in <br /> 2024 and that amount of the budget needs to be moved from 2025 to 2024 ($6,580). <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Staff is recommending approval of resolution 10056 approving budget carryovers from 2024 to <br /> 2025. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Gayle Bauman, Finance Director <br />
