RESOLUTION 10062 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AUTHORIZE SANITARY SEWER LINE REHABILITATION PROJECT, <br /> CIPP (CURED-IN-PLACE PIPE) <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works has an inspection and maintenance program for the municipal <br /> sanitary sewer system, by televising and evaluating the condition of the pipes. Defects are logged <br /> while performing inspections, including cracks in the pipe and leaking joints; and <br /> WHEREAS, a priority list that ranks the segments of pipe requiring repair or remediation is <br /> maintained by Public Works and Staff determined which lines should be included in the Sanitary Sewer <br /> Rehabilitation Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works in conjunction with Stantec has prepared plans and specifications <br /> (bid documents) in house for use in obtaining public bids for the sanitary rehabilitation project; and <br /> WHEREAS, a public bid is required since the estimated construction cost exceeds <br /> $175,000.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, a virtual bid opening is scheduled to be held on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at 10:00 <br /> am; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funding for these repairs is budgeted in the Sanitary Sewer fund, 730-4823- <br /> 7050, which includes $1,000,000.00 for the sewer pipe relining program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The City hereby approves Staff to complete the plans and specifications for the 2025 <br /> Sanitary Sewer Line Rehabilitation Project, City project 2024-007. <br /> 2. Funding will be from the Sanitary Sewer Fund, 730-4823-7050. <br /> 3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br /> appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br /> 4.
