He also asked if there is a contract to be concerned with. <br />E. Rotary Membership <br />City Administrator Miller indicated she did not have the information available for discussion at <br />this meeting. <br />Assistant City Administrator Reed indicated that the City pays $700.00 annually for the <br />membership but the amounts are paid quarterly. She then said she is not sure whether there is a <br />contract. <br />Council Member Marty said he was looking at this as a way to save money because the City is <br />having trouble finding a representative available to attend the meetings. <br />Mayor Sonterre indicated he would be fine with canceling the membership but asked Staff to <br />determine what, if any, the penalty to the City would be to do so. <br />Council Member Thomas asked when the next quarterly payment was due. <br />City Administrator Miller asked if Council was directing Staff to drop the membership if there is <br />no contractual obligation. <br />There was consensus of Council to direct Staff to drop the membership if there is no contractual <br />obligation. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Marty. To Direct Staff to Cancel the Membership to the Rotary <br />Club if There is no Contractual Obligation. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />F. Discussion Regarding Specifying Work Session for Public Comment <br />Council Member Stigney asked that the matter be placed on the work session agenda for <br />discussion. <br />Council Member Thomas indicated that, since that was her original suggestion, she would be fine <br />with that. <br />Council Member Marty said he was hoping to vote on it. <br />Council Member Thomas indicated there are a lot of options for discussion. <br />Council Member Marty asked if citizens would be allowed to speak. <br />
