Mounds View City Council October 14, 2002 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br />• Finance Director Hansen indicated that the Community Center budget does contain funds for <br />advertising. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Approve Just and correct Claims as Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />6. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Licenses for Approval <br />B. Set a Public Hearing for 7:05 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2002, to Consider a <br />Conditional Use Permit request for Automotive Repair at 2135 Program Avenue, <br />Site of the Wash-Me Car Wash <br />C. Resolution No. 5859 Approving the Contract Award for the Upgrade of the City <br />Hall Sump Pumps <br />D. Resolution 5855 Approving the 2003 SCORE Recycling Grant Request to <br />Ramsey County <br />Council Member Stigney requested that Item C be removed for discussion. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty. To Approve Consent Agenda Items A, B, and D as <br />Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Thomas. To Approve Consent Agenda Item C as Presented. <br />Council Member Stigney said he was curious as to why he had not heard about a City Hall sump <br />pump over the course of the last six years and now it is suddenly an issue. <br />Public Works Director Lee said he was not sure why the sump pump was not addressed by <br />previous Staff but said he feels the matter should be dealt with as each time the fuses are blown it <br />costs the City $300.00. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. Consideration of Resolution 5857, a Resolution Approving a Development <br />Review for SYSCO Minnesota. <br />Planner Atkinson explained that SYSCO Minnesota was proposing two separate expansions <br />totaling 36,300 additional square feet but the expansion would bring no additional employees so <br />• parking would not be affected. He then noted that all requirements were reviewed by Staff and <br />Staff recommends approval of the request. <br />
