• PROCEEDINGS OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW MSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Regular Meeting December 9, 2002 Mounds View City Hall 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 7:20 P.M. 1. MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER 2. ROLL CALL: Mayor Sonterre, Council Member Quick, Council Member Marty, Council Member Stigney, and Council Member Thomas. 3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mayor Sonterre indicated that Staff had asked to add two items to the consent agenda. The first is to set a public hearing for 7:05 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2002 to consider a resolution amending Resolution 5719 relating to interim use permits for billboards at the Bridges Golf Course. The second is to set a public hearing for 7:10 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2002 to consider the second reading and adoption of Ordinance 708, an Ordinance amending Section 1008 of the Mounds View Municipal Code pertaining to billboards. Staff also asked that the first reading of Ordinance 708 be added under Council Business. Council Member Stigney asked if there was a reason these items needed to be heard on December 30, 2002 or if they could be held over until the first of the year. Mayor Sonterre indicated there are several items that need to be dealt with and he is recommending that the meeting be changed from December 23, 2002 to December 30, 2002. Council Member Stigney asked why they needed to be dealt with and could not carry over to next year. Mayor Sonterre indicated there are several items on the agenda for December 30, 2002 and noted there was not time to notice for December 23, 2002. Community Development Director Ericson indicated there was no compelling reason to deal with the matters on December 30, 2002 but said that since there are a number of other issues on the agenda, these two might as well be added. City Administrator Miller indicated there are other items that will need to go on the agenda. •
