MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br />2. ROLL CALL: Mayor Sonterre, Council Member Quick, Council Member Marty, <br />Council Member Stigney, and Council Member Thomas. <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Sonterre indicated that Staff had asked to add two items to the consent agenda. The first <br />is to set a public hearing for 7:05 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2002 to consider a resolution <br />amending Resolution 5719 relating to interim use permits for billboards at the Bridges Golf <br />Course. The second is to set a public hearing for 7:10 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2002 to <br />consider the second reading and adoption of Ordinance 708, an Ordinance amending Section <br />1008 of the Mounds View Municipal Code pertaining to billboards. Staff also asked that the first <br />reading of Ordinance 708 be added under Council Business. <br />Council Member Stigney asked if there was a reason these items needed to be heard on <br />December 30, 2002 or if they could be held over until the first of the year. <br />Mayor Sonterre indicated there are several items that need to be dealt with and he is <br />recommending that the meeting be changed from December 23, 2002 to December 30, 2002. <br />Council Member Stigney asked why they needed to be dealt with and could not carry over to next <br />year. <br />Mayor Sonterre indicated there are several items on the agenda for December 30, 2002 and noted <br />there was not time to notice for December 23, 2002. <br />Community Development Director Ericson indicated there was no compelling reason to deal <br />with the matters on December 30, 2002 but said that since there are a number of other issues on <br />the agenda, these two might as well be added. <br />City Administrator Miller indicated there are other items that will need to go on the agenda. <br />• <br />
