Mounds View City Council March 10, 2003 <br />Regular Meeting Page 10 <br />Finance Director Hansen explained that Lakeside Park is the park that is on border with Spring <br />Lake Park and the two cities jointly operate it with each City taking on certain responsibilities for <br />maintenance. The City of Spring Lake Park assumes the physical maintenance and makes use of <br />city equipment to maintain the park, keeps track of hours and bills the City for usage of that <br />equipment at commercial rental rates. <br />Council Member Gunn asked if the County Road H2 project was nearly completed. <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that the final wear course, boulevard restoration and <br />pathway on the north side still needed to be completed. <br />Mayor Linke asked Mr. Ericson to contact the State Auditor for clarification on the gala <br />expenditure. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. Set a Public Hearing for 7:15 PM, Monday, March 24, 2003, to Consider a "No Parking" <br />Request on the East Side of Greenfield Avenue 350 Feet South from County Road I <br />Council Member Marty requested that Item A be removed for discussion. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Gunn. To Approve Consent Agenda Items B, C, and D as <br />Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />Council Member Marty expressed concern that the engineering estimate was much lower than <br />the actual costs for the project. He then said that he would like Staff to ensure that engineering <br />estimates are carefully reviewed in the past so that the amounts are closer to the actual amount. <br />
