JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br />Mayor Linke asked for clarification of the charge from Kennedy and Graven for the Police <br />Commission. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated the Police Civil Service Commission had not met <br />yet this year but he had posed questions to the City Attorney and that is what brought about the <br />$24.00 charge. <br />Finance Director Hansen informed Council of a correction to the spread sheet that tracks <br />payments from outside parties. He then explained that a formula had been inadvertently copied <br />to a cell where it did not belong and had shown a collection for Longview Estates where there <br />was none. He then apologized for the error. <br />Council Member Marty asked for clarification of Check Number 110435 to the Minnesota <br />Department of Health for a water supply connection fee. <br />. Finance Director Hansen indicated the State of Minnesota does testing of all water systems in the <br />state and all water systems have to pay the state a fee based on the number of connections and <br />that payment is made each quarter. <br />Council Member Many asked for clarification on Check Number 110430 to Midwest Public Golf <br />Managers Association. He then said that it seems there have been numerous memberships for <br />the golf course and he is wondering how many the City needs and if there are any more the City <br />will be asked to pay for. <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated there were several different memberships at the golf course <br />and he does check them against the budget or for City Administrator approval before the <br />payments are made. <br />Golf Course Manager Burg indicated that this membership is an association of local City and all <br />public managers and is one of the last to be paid for. She then said there may be one more that <br />needs to be paid. <br />Council Member Marty asked how many memberships the golf course has. <br />Ms. Burg indicated that there are six different associations and explained each of them. <br />Ms. Burg indicated there would be a couple more licenses to be purchased by the City for staff at <br />the golf course. One is an electrical license and the other is a pesticide applicator's license. <br />Council Member Marty asked whether New Brighton had this many memberships. <br />
