To Approve the Consent Agenda as Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 <br />Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />9. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. YMCA Quarterly Report <br />.7 <br />Pat Riemersma from the YMCA provided an overview of what is happening for January through <br />Apri12003 for the YMCA. <br />Ms. Riemersma indicated that Shannon Roepke had resigned and indicated she would be <br />working with Mr. Ericson to advertise the position and move forward with hiring. <br />Mayor Linke asked whether there were scholarships for lower income families for youth classes. <br />Ms. Riemersma indicated that Y Partners dollars are used for that as well as noting there is a <br />sliding fee schedule based on income for class tuition. <br />Mayor Linke recommended that the YMCA utilize the information from the school district that <br />allows families to qualify for the free lunch program rather than making families go through the <br />process of verifying income twice. <br />B. Public Hearing and Consideration of Resolution 6016, a Resolution <br />Pertaining to an Oversized Garage at 7988 Edgewood Drive <br />• <br />Mayor Linke opened the public hearing at 8:07 p.m. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that this is an application for a CUP for an <br />oversized garage located at 7988 Edgewood Drive. He then provided information as to the size <br />and location of the garage as well as noting that the Planning Commission unanimously <br />recommended approval. <br />
