APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />19 <br />20 A. Monday, August 11, 2003 City Council Agenda. <br />21 <br />~2 MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty. To Approve the Monday, August 11, 2003 Agenda as <br />3 Presented. <br />24 <br />25 Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />26 <br />27 5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />28 <br />29 William Werner of 2765 Sherwood Road addressed Council and indicated that he had a wash out <br />3o next to the storm sewer drain by his driveway and he is disappointed with the way the work was <br />31 done and the fact that it is not completed. He then commented that he had been told by Staff that <br />32 not much effort was put into the repair because the area is scheduled for reconstruction at some <br />33 point and that disappoints him and he cannot understand wanting to do anything other than a <br />34 good job. <br />35 <br />36 Mr. Werner indicated that he has questions about the philosophy of Council on these types of <br />37 issues and then handed out an article indicating that it was named "a time to ponder the wisdom <br />38 of living more efficiently." <br />39 <br />40 6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />41 <br />42 A. Proclamation for Recognition of City Employees <br />43 <br />•4 Mayor Linke read a proclamation for Recognition of City Employees for doing extra work above <br />45 and beyond their job requirements to pick up the slack during times when there were vacancies. <br />
