Public Hearing, First Reading and Introduction of Proposed Ordinance 721, <br />an Ordinance Amending Chapter 1116 Regarding Permitted Uses Within the <br />Industrial (I-1) Zoning District <br />Community Development Director Ericson indicated this ordinance is related to the previous <br />ordinance in that with the change of the PF zoned properties to other use districts all of the <br />proposed uses out there are allowed in the districts recommended with the exception of the golf <br />course. This Ordinance amends the Code to include golf courses as an allowed use within the I-1 <br />zoning district. <br />Mayor Linke opened the public hearing at 8:46 p.m. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing at 8:47 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Waive the Reading, Introduce the First Reading and <br />Approve Ordinance 721, an Ordinance Amending Chapter 1116 Regarding Permitted Uses <br />Within the Industrial (I-1) Zoning District. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />H. Resolution No. 6101 Appointing Jason Ruby to the Position of Public Service <br />Officer to the Police Department <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6101, a <br />Resolution Appointing Jason Ruby to the Position of Public Service Officer to the Police <br />Department. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />Council Member Marty asked how the public service officer differs from community service <br />officer. <br />Chief Sommer indicated that the hours and salary were changed so the position is less than half <br />time and gets no benefits. <br />.3 <br />
