Mounds View City Council February 9, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br />• 1 City Administrator Ulrich indicated the City does have some surplus equipment building up and <br />2 Staff intends to look into selling it at auction. He then indicated Staff would make the list <br />3 available to residents for review. <br />4 <br />5 Mayor Linke asked Staff to make sure that the hard drives are removed from the computers. <br />6 <br />7 City Administrator Ulrich indicated it was his understanding that there is now a way to erase hard <br />8 drives the same way the federal government does. He further commented that it seems to be the normal <br />course that if something is budgeted for the money is spent regardless of whether the item is <br />really needed. <br />Mr. Werner expressed concern that there were comments made that the recently replaced <br />camcorder was not worth replacing the missing cable and suddenly it is good enough for the <br />police department. <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution 6188, a Resolution of Appreciation for Police Sergeant Reed <br />Krogh <br />Mayor Linke indicated that Sergeant Krogh was unable to attend the meeting. He then read the <br />Resolution of Appreciation. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Linke/Gunn. To Approve Resolution 6188, a Resolution of Appreciation <br />for Police Sergeant Reed Krogh. <br />Chief Sommer introduced Sergeant Mike Kaampa to Council. <br />Ayes - 3 <br />Nays - 0 Motion carried.. <br />7. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br />A. Just and Correct Claims <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Gunn. To Approve Just and Correct Claims as Presented. <br />
