Mounds View City Council May 24, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 19 <br />• <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. City Council Minutes May 10, 2004 <br />Council Member Gunn requested that Page 3, Line 35 be corrected to read: <br />Finance Director Hansen explained that a couple of years ago there was an accident with a City <br />vehicle and a private parry and the City paid the $10,000 deductible and the League paid the <br />amount in excess of that. Last fall the League accomplished recovery of money from the other <br />driver and they were to calculate and send 2/3 of the recovery to the City but they made a mistake <br />and sent the entire amount to the City so this is a refund to them. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Approve the City Council Minutes for May 10, 2004 as <br />Amended. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />~J <br />B. Executive Session Minutes May 10, 2004 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Approve the Executive Session Council Minutes for May <br />10, 2004 as Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />• <br />Council Member Gunn reminded residents of Festival in the Park and outlined some of the <br />planned festivities. <br />Council Member Gunn indicated that she has been told that there were only 35 tables at the <br />banquet center and that, if the organization using the facility needed more, they were to go out <br />and rent them. She then said that she would like an inventory done of what the City has at the <br />banquet center. <br />Mayor Linke indicated that the banquet center has always taken care of rentals and charges it <br />back. <br />
