Mounds View City Council June 28, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 18 <br />• <br />Planning Associate Prososki stated that she and Council Member Gunn attended the joint city <br />council work session for the cities of Mounds View and Arden Hills on June 17~'. She stated <br />they had discussed possible changes to the interchange system between State Highway 10 and <br />Interstate 694. She stated it is very important to Mounds View because it did include the <br />possible closing of the direct access from County Road 10 to 35W. She stated one of the <br />proposals was to direct traffic from County Road 10 to an access on County Road H to get to 35. <br />She stated she attached exhibits that were provided by MnDOT and their overall plan to the staff <br />report. <br />Mayor Linke stated he had spoke with Mayor Wells of Spring Lake Park, and he is concerned <br />that if County 10 is cut off from 35, it's going to drastically affect what they do in their tunnel. <br />Planning Associate Prososki stated that Shoreview would be included in the future meetings <br />because the County Road I interchange greatly affects them. <br />The Council discussed the exhibits provided by MnDOT. <br />C. City Attorney <br />• <br />• <br />City Attorney Riggs stated he had received correspondence from the Attorney General dated June <br />23`d, which he distributed to the Council members for their information, and stated they could <br />discuss it at a future meeting. <br />13.
