Mounds View City Council August 23, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 17 <br />• City Attorney Riggs passed out a memo that summarized the Attorney General's opinion and <br />City Attorney Riggs stated that none of the numbers had changed, and there was nothing <br />different brought before the Council. <br />some correspondence to the Council members. He stated that nothing has changed the City's <br />perspective as to how these numbers have been evaluated by independent auditors, as well as two <br />different Finance Directors of the City. <br />Council Member Stigney asked whether anything had changed other than they haven't accepted <br />the offer. He asked what the City Attorney's recommendation would be. <br />Council Member Stigney asked if he was suggesting that the Council should direct the <br />Administrator to go forward with the original offer to resolve the matter. <br />City Attorney Riggs stated that that was a valid response at this time. <br />MOTION/SECOND. Stigney/Gunn. To move forward with the offer that was extended in <br />November of 2002. <br />Ayes-4 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />Mayor Linke returned to the meeting. <br />• Mayor Linke stated that there had been a request to postpone the Executive Session until <br />September 7~'. <br />MOTION/SECOND. Linke/Marty. To postpone the Executive Session that had been scheduled <br />to follow the EDA meeting until after the work session on September 7~`. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />13.
