Mounds View City Council November 8, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br />• <br />Council Member Stigney asked how much of the operation administration budget of $560,100 <br />was for salaries and benefits of the seven staff members. <br />Mr. Musil stated it was a little under $400,000. <br />C. Resolution 6390, Canvass the 2004 General Election Results <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member Stigney asked if there were any challenges, and Desiree stated that she was not <br />aware of any. <br />Mayor Linke read Resolution 6390 aloud. <br />MOTION/SECOND. Linke/Gunn. To approve Resolution 6390 as presented. <br />Mayor Linke stated there will be a special election in February or March, to be decided after the <br />vacancy is actually declared. <br />Ayes-5 <br />Nays-0 <br />Motion carried. <br />8. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS. <br />Council Member Marty asked whether the item for $303.47 on page 3, fourth item down, was for <br />one chair. <br />Finance Director Charlie Hanson stated that it was for one chair for the police department, and <br />that chairs less expensive don't hold up well. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Quick. To waive the reading and approve the Just and Correct <br />Claims as presented. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 <br />9. CONSENT AGENDA <br />Motion carried <br />Council Member Marry requested to remove items C and D for brief comments. <br />A. Licenses for Approval <br />B. Set a Public Hearing for Monday, November 22, 2004 at 7:05 PM for the <br />Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 739, Rezoning Portions of Lots 1 <br />and 2, Block 1, Velmeir CVS Addition, Located at 2800 County Road 10. <br />C. Resolution 6387 Approving a Contract Award for the 2005 to 2007 <br />Residential Water Service Repair Program. <br />D. Resolution 6388 Approving a Contract Award for the Public Works <br />Department Uniforms. <br />
