Mounds View City Council November 22, 2004 <br />Regular Meeting Page 11 <br />City Attorney Riggs stated there was a clause in the contract for arbitration in California, which <br />is not something they would want to agree to, as well as there were no warranties in the <br />agreement, so rt needed to be reworked before the Council approved rt. <br />Mr. Thomas stated that the fees that go along with the credit cards need to be looked at to see <br />whether they were captive. <br />K. 2005 Mounds View Fee Schedule Discussion. <br />Acting Mayor Marty asked whether the room rental fees for the Community Center had been <br />verified as far as the fire marshal. <br />Director Ericson stated they had been verified and were under the allowable limits. <br />Acting Mayor Marty stated he had received calls from citizens saying that the nonresident fees in <br />Mounds View weren't as great as other cities, so he was happy to see that they had changed it <br />from $15 to $20 an hour. <br />Acting Mayor Marty asked what happened to the meter testing and MIU-MXLJ costs on page 24. <br />Finance Director Hansen stated that those two items had moved to pages 27 and 28 in order to <br />group them in a more logical fashion. <br />Councilmember Stigney asked whether they were charging enough for automobile sales of $150 <br />per year. <br />Ms. Crane stated that she could research that. <br />There was a short discussion regarding the fee for public office, and it was decided that City <br />Clerk Ulrich could research the costs of processing. <br />11. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. November 8, 2004 City Council Meeting <br />Councilmember Gunn made a correction at page 1, where she said Al Hall should be changed to <br />Al Hull. <br />Councilmember Stigney made a correction at page 7, lines 12 and 13, to say, "and so now the <br />City doesn't have the same contract with the Canyon Grill that they would have had." <br />MOTION/SECOND. Stigney/Many. To approve the November 8, 2004 City Council Meeting <br />Minutes as amended. <br />• <br />
