There being no public comment, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Many/Gunn. To waive the reading and approve Resolution 6401, <br />Adopting the 2005 Mounds View Fee Schedule. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />B. Resolution 6402 Adopting the 2005 Property Tax Levy. <br />City Clerk Ulrich stated the truth in taxation hearing was held, and the hearing was closed on the <br />December 6, 2004 date. He stated the latest it's recommended that the levy be adopted would be <br />December 20th, and that this was the last scheduled meeting before then. <br />Mayor Linke read the Resolution aloud. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Linke. To and approve Resolution 6402, Adopting the 2005 <br />Property Tax Levy. <br />Council Member Stigney stated that the median home value in Mounds View is $160,000, and <br />his home had increased in value, but the city portion of his taxes has gone up to $185 per year <br />from what it had been previously. He stated he didn't think they had done enough to try to <br />reduce this levy so he wouldn't support it. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays -1 (Stigney) Motion carried. <br />Council Member Marty left the meeting. <br />C. Resolution 6403 Adopting the 2005 Budgets for All Funds. <br />The Resolution was read aloud by City Clerk Ulrich. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Gunn. To approve Resolution 6403, Adopting the 2005 Budgets for <br />All Funds. <br />Council Member Stigney reiterated that his taxes had increased $185 per year, which he felt was <br />excessive. <br />Ayes - 3 Nays -1 Motion carried. <br />D. Consideration of a Minor Subdivision at 7656 and 7658 Silver Lake Road. <br />
