Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />Council Member Gunn stated that the soft opening for the CVS store is February 20tk`, and the <br />grand opening is going to be approximately a week after that. <br />Council Member Stigney stated that the paper said it was going to be January 30th. <br />• Council Member Gunn stated that the 've been havin roblems findin a harmacist, so there is <br />Y gp g p <br />a good job opportunity there. <br />Mayor Marty reminded residents to show up and vote at the special election on February 1St at the <br />Community Center, and that the doors would be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Marty stated that The Bulletin had contacted him last week, and anyone who doesn't have <br />a blue mailbox should contact them, and they will come and install one. <br />B. Reports of Staff <br />Economic Development Director Report. <br />Community Development Director Ericson stated that the City had been contacted by a realtor <br />representing the property owners at 2394 County Road 10, otherwise known as the Donut <br />Connection, and had asked if the City would be interested in purchasing the property. He stated <br />this is a small site, about 20,000 square feet, carved out of the gas station site. He stated that they <br />indicated they are looking for a selling price that will be below Ramsey County assessed values, <br />and that they are motivated sellers. He stated he has scheduled this for Planning Commission <br />review at their February 2nd meeting. He stated that there is a strong likelihood that the gas <br />• station could also be available, and the two properties together would make a very nice <br />redevelopment, which may not occur without the City's or EDA's acquisition. He stated he was <br />
