Mounds View City Council Apri125, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br />• Public Works Director Lee stated that the sweeper was purchased in 1989 noting that they do use <br />several brushes through the course of a year. He stated that they try to purchase a portion each <br />year and indicated that they are planning to come back in the fall to present Council with a <br />proposal to replace the sweeper. <br />Council Member Flaherty referenced page 7, Kennedy and Graven invoices and asked if the <br />invoice for the Skyline Motel, in the amount of $966.38 was for the meth lab cleanup. <br />Director Ericson clarified that the expense was to review the possibilities for an acquisition <br />noting that after reviewing it was decided not to acquire the property. <br />MOTION/SECOND. Flaherty/Gunn. To approve the Just and Correct Claims as Presented. <br />Ayes-4 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA <br />Council Member Gunn requested Item C to be pulled. <br />Mayor Marty read, in full, the proclamation declaring Apri129, 2005 as Arbor Day in the City of <br />Mounds View. He stated that citizens are called upon to assist in the planting of trees to be <br />• enjoyed by current and future residents at Sunnyside Elementary. <br />A. Set a Public Hearing for 7:05 pm on May 9, 2005 to Consider a Conditional <br /> Use Permit to add two additional units to amulti-family residential building <br /> at 2071 Hillview Road <br />B. Set a Public Hearing for 7:10 pm on May 9, 2005 to Consider a Development <br /> Review for a Retail Development at 2525 County Road 10 <br />C. Resolution 6501 Proclaiming Apri129, 2005 as "Arbor Day" <br />D. Schedule a Special Work Session for Tuesday, May 3, 2005, to discuss street <br /> rehabilitation issues. <br />E. Schedule an Executive Session immediately following this City Council <br /> meeting to discuss Golf Course property purchase and Billboard Contract <br /> negotiations. <br />F. Licenses for Approval <br />MOTION/SECOND. Thomas/Flaherty. To Approve the Consent Agenda as presented. <br />Ayes-4 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />9. COUNCIL BUSINESS. <br />A. 7:05 p.m. Public Hearing to Consider a Conditional Use Permit for a <br />• Residential Kennel at 8370 Pleasant View Drive <br />
