Monday, June 13, 2005 City Council Agenda. <br />• MOTION/SECOND: Thomas/Stigney To Approve the Monday, June 13, 2005 agenda as <br />presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, stated that it is his understanding that there are more <br />detailed documents now available that are relevant to the Medtronic proposal. He stated that he <br />has the original synopsis of the proposal adding that he would like to have a copy of the detailed <br />documents. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that he would be able to provide Mr. McCarty with a copy <br />tomorrow. <br />David Jahnke, 8428 Eastwood Road, stated that he would like to share a bit of information with <br />the Council. He stated that he owns 40-acres on Highway 65 and several large developers are <br />interested in developing the land. He indicated that he asked one of the developers why they <br />weren't interested in making a deal on this land to develop it. He stated that the response he <br />received was that there was no way any of the developers could compete or get the kind of <br />concessions that Medtronic got to develop the roads and land.
