To Approve the September 26, 2005 City Council <br />meeting minutes as corrected above. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />11. REPORTS <br />B. Reports of Mayor and Council <br />• Mayor Marry stated as of today the street pick up of the debris only three streets remained in the <br />City that have not been cleared. He noted those streets were on the south side, just east of Silver <br />Lake Road. He stated if anyone lived on any other streets, it was the resident's responsibility to <br />get rid of the debris now. He stated tomorrow they should be finished. He indicated if anyone <br />had questions, they should contact City Hall and speak with Public Works. <br />Mayor Marty stated they had a fire station dedication tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. and everyone was <br />welcome to attend. <br />Mayor Marty stated he went over to Cummings Park Open House in Arden Hills and spoke with <br />Tom Moore, the Operations and Maintenance Manager, to look at their new park building. He <br />noted the new building was in excess of $600,000 which was paid by park dedication funds from <br />Guidant. He stated he had spoken with Mr. Moore about the Mounds View park building and <br />Mr. Moore had indicated they had a similar building which cost them $350,000.00. He indicated <br />after the discussion with Mr. Moore, he realized that their park building was not out of line, but if <br />they could do it for less, that would be better. <br />Mayor Marry stated they had spoken about civility at meetings and recommended adopting a <br />policy that came in the handout. He stated at any time someone feels they are offended, to bring <br />this up to Council. He stated he wanted to be civil at the meetings. <br />Councilmember Thomas stated she had visited a few of the parks after the storm and she had <br />• some concerns with Silverview and asked how much of the tree damage was going to be cleaned <br />
