Mounds View City Council November 14, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 20 <br />Councilmember Flaherty asked if the budget will be an agenda item for the next meeting. City <br />Administrator Ulrich answered in the affirmative. Councilmember Flaherty stated he would like <br />to discuss how to use the golf course auction funds. <br />Mayor Marty noted the indication in Finance Director Beer's memorandum to decrease Police <br />vehicles 4200-7040 in the amount of $4,000 to reflect the change in vehicle requested. <br />• <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated at the Arden Hills meeting, the Mayors and Administrators <br />talked about communications. Arden Hills brought up that they have a newsletter published by a <br />citizen's editorial board and a paid editor who makes a minimal amount. This newsletter is put <br />out ten times a year and may be an option for Mounds View to consider. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated they also talked about TCAAP. Arden Hills is getting an <br />appraisal on the property and hopes to have things wrapped up with government services agency <br />to transfer property within a year. However, that will depend orr Arden Hills reaching an <br />agreement with the government on the price of the property. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated a summary of the auction at the golf course was provided to the <br />Council. The auction netted over $123,000 from the sale of golf course assets. He stated there <br />were a few surprises, some things sold higher than anticipated, but they did not receive the <br />minimum bid needed for the greens so they are unsold. <br />Community Development Director Ericson reminded the Council of the County Road J Project <br />open house to be held at the Blaine City Ha11 on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 from 4:30 p.m. <br />to 7:00 p.m. <br />C.
