RESOLUTION NO. 10068 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN-KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br /> SHELLY ROSENE, 2809 COUNTY ROAD H2 <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br /> controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br /> Family Residential; and <br /> WHEREAS, Shelly Rosene has submitted an application, with an approved site <br /> plan, and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on her property located at 2809 <br /> County Road H2; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it meets all requirements set <br /> forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br /> considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held March 10, <br /> 2025. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br /> hereby approve a Chicken-Keeping License for Shelly Rosene, 2809 County Road H2, <br /> for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked or denied by the <br /> City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license will expire December 31, 2025, and <br /> shall be renewed annually. <br /> Adopted this 10t"day of March, 2025. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> (Seal) <br /> The Mounds View Vision <br /> A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
