Mounds View City Council June 22, 2009 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br />• <br />Council Member Gunn noted the Code indicates adaptors, power tap, power supply, and <br />installation per what the Fire Marshal has stated. <br />Assistant Clerk-Administrator Crane questioned the date for the fire inspection to be passed. <br />Kevin Halvorson stated they would have the surge protectors installed by the end of the week. <br />Mayor Flaherty suggested June 29, 2009. Fire Marshal Osmonson stated she would schedule an <br />inspection for that date. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7460, to <br />Consider an On Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Robert's Sports Bar and Entertainment, <br />subject to satisfactory to a Fire Inspection on June 29, 2009. <br />Council Member Hull stated his place of employment in Mounds View is inspected each year <br />and he has found Fire Marshal Osmonson nothing but professional so he took exception to the <br />implication with regard to harassment. Mayor Flaherty concurred and noted no one is singled out <br />and the City needed to ensure Mounds View's businesses and customers are safe. <br />Council Member Mueller stated communication is vitally important and this has been a learning <br />experience. She stated she is appreciative that things have worked out this evening and can move <br />forward. <br />Council Member Stigney asked about the deadline for the inspection. Fire Marshal Osmonson <br />suggested by noon on June 29. <br />FRIENDLY AMENDMENT: Council Member Mueller and Stigney accepted this friendly <br />amendment to have the date of inspection, June 29~', included in the motion. . <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Amendment carried. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Amended motion carried. <br />A. 1. 7:05 p.m. Public Hearing: to Receive Public Input and Approve <br />Resolution 7466 Adopting a Special Assessment Levy for Unpaid <br />Administrative Offense Fines. <br />Finance Director Beer explained the process to assess for unpaid fines and advised of the <br />notification process provided to the four property owners. <br />Mayor Flaherty opened the public hearing at 8:02 p.m. Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty <br />closed the public hearing at 8:02 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull.
