APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />MOTION/SECOND: FLAHERTY/THOMAS. To Approve the Monday, March 13, 2006 agenda <br />as presented. <br />A. Monday, March 13, 2006 City Council Agenda <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />David Jahnke, 8428 Eastwood Road, stated his concern with spending a lot of money on the <br />Community Center, when it has not done well in the past. He stated that not a penny has been <br />spent on infrastructure, and that the City should be focusing on that instead of the Community <br />Center. He asked Mayor Marty for his thoughts. <br />Mayor Marty explained the purpose of the Community Center Task Force is to try to have the <br />Community Center work much better to serve the City and its citizens. He commented that Mr. <br />Jahnke was correct in that the only time many people go there is to vote. He stated the Task <br />Force is trying to come up with different programs and activities to make more use of the <br />Community Center by the City and its citizens. He stated he agreed with Mr. Jahnke relating to <br />streets and infrastructure, because the City has known for years what the condition the streets are <br />in. Mayor Marty stated the City does need to focus more on streets and the establishment of a <br />street program in the next year. <br />• <br />
