APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br /> A. Monday, April 24, 2006 City Council Agenda <br /> <br />Mayor Marty suggested adding Item 11C under Reports of City Attorney to Council Business as <br />Item 7K. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: GUNN/FLAHERTY. To Approve the Monday, April 24, 2006 agenda as <br />amended. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Marty reminded citizens of the 2nd Annual Town Hall Meeting that will be held on <br />Saturday, April 29, 2006, from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Doris Heilman, 3034 Ardmore Avenue, stated there was an accident on Highway 10 on Saturday <br />afternoon. She stated she has gone from being angry and disgusted that it has happened again, to <br />being very sad for the child and the family. She states she is haunted by the phone call she <br />received on February 20, 2000, when her son, Brandon, was hit and killed there. <br /> <br />Ms. Heilman stressed there is a severe waning lack of awareness about how dangerous the road is <br />for kids. She indicated that right after Brandon’s accident, the schools were teaching kids how to <br />properly cross the highway, but she stated that she made telephone calls to the schools, and found <br />out that this stopped a couple of years ago and there is only some general discussion about it in
