To waive the reading and adopt Resolution 6799 <br />Approving the Plans and Specifications and Authorizing the Advertisement for Bids and Setting <br />a Bid Date for the Silver Lake Road Sidewalk Improvement Project, as amended. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 1 (Stigney) Motion carried. <br /> <br />I. Resolution 6800 Approving the Plans and Specifications and Authorizing the <br />Advertisement for Bids and Setting a Bid Date for the Hidden Hollow South <br />Street and Utility Installation Project. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Lee explained that plans and specifications have been prepared and the <br />estimated cost of the project is $132,635. He stated that a bid date will be set at June 1, 2006, as <br />advertisement for bids must occur at least three weeks before the bid date since the contract is <br />over $100,000. <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Lee explained that the reason for the increased cost is due to the <br />increase of petroleum prices. He pointed out the actual cost will be based on the bids received. <br />He noted the costs will be borne by the developer except for an estimated $3,700 of construction <br />costs for the utility access trail that will be financed by the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Marty pointed out that there was a typo on the Resolution, and confirmed that it should <br />read the Hidden Hollow South Street and Utility Project. Director of Public Works Lee stated <br />that is correct. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: THOMAS/FLAHERTY. Resolution 6801 Approval of the LELS Local 204 (Police Officers) 2006-2007 <br />Labor Agreement. <br /> <br />Assistant to the Administrator Crane explained the terms of the negotiated labor agreement with <br />the LELS Local 204 (Police Officers) for 2006-2007. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: FLAHERTY/GUNN. To waive the reading and adopt Resolution 6801 <br />Approval of the LELS Local 204 (Police Officers) 2006-2007 Labor Agreement.
