To Approve the May 8, 2006 City Council <br />meeting minutes as corrected. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council <br />Councilmember Flaherty announced an upcoming presentation on Codes and Ordinances at the <br />Falcon Heights City Hall. <br />Councilmember Gunn announced that Mounds View will be getting a minute clinic, which is <br />something the community has needed for some time. <br />Councilmember Gunn advised that the Festival in the Park will be held on August 20, 2006, <br />volunteers are still needed, and they are looking for someone to run the car show or a motorcycle <br />show. <br />• B. Reports of Staff <br />City Administrator Ulrich reported on the May 11, 2006, a Walkable Communities workshop <br />was held at the Community Center and attended by less than 20 participants. This workshop was <br />facilitated by national speakers about what features should be incorporated into County Road 10 <br />as those plans are prepared. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated tonight is the first meeting in the newly remodeled City Hall and <br />requested feedback from residents about the broadcast. He advised that the Mounds View logo <br />will be installed on the wall behind the Council dais. <br />Mayor Marry asked if staff received a copy of the news report from Channel 9. City <br />Administrator Ulrich stated they sell the video tapes through a service and he will follow up on <br />that matter. <br />1. Random Park Building Project <br />Public Works Director Lee explained that this item addresses the Random Park building project <br />and requirement to add fire protection to the building. He explained that the International <br />Building Code has a classification system for buildings. "Group A" buildings are for assembly <br />• type buildings. Community Halls are considered an "A-3" occupancy. "Group U" buildings are <br />for utility and miscellaneous buildings. Examples include barns, carports, sheds, etc. Some park <br />
