MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />3. ROLL CALL: Acting Mayor Stigney, Councilmember Gunn, and Councilmember <br />Flaherty <br />NOT PRESENT: Mayor Marty and Councilmember Thomas <br />• <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />A. Monday, May 22, 2006 City Council Agenda <br />MOTION/SECOND: GUNN/FLAHERTY. To Approve the Monday, June 12, 2006 agenda as <br />presented. <br />Ayes - 3 <br />• <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />William Werner, 2765 Sherwood Road, spoke regarding the proposed Community Center and <br />additional recreational equipment. Mr. Werner said he has not heard anything about its progress <br />even though it seems to be progressing. He asked Acting Mayor Stigney to explain the scope of <br />the recreational equipment and the City is in the process of completing the Community Center. <br />Acting Mayor Stigney replied that the City has received bids. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that at the last Planning Commission meeting, the architects <br />presented plans and it was the consensus of the Commissioners to get quotes before the next step, <br />which is to prepare specifications. Administrator Ulrich explained the specifications would <br />consider the cost and budget calculations of the project, specifically based on the criteria of <br />potential revenue for the project considering at different scenarios. He said that Staff is working <br />on scenarios and expects the issue will be before the Council at the June 26 meeting. <br />
