Mounds View City Council June 12, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 8 <br />• Assistant to the City Administrator Crane stated that Staff recommends opening the Public <br />Hearing for Public Comment and further recommends the Council approve Vino & Stogies' <br />application for an Off=Sale Intoxicating Liquor License pending receipt of their Certificate of <br />Liability Insurance. She stated that the time period for this license will be July 1, 2006 to June <br />30, 2007. <br />Acting Mayor Stigney opened the public hearing at 7:38 p.m. <br />Acting Mayor Stigney closed the public hearing at 7:39 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND: GUNN/FLAHERTY. To waive the reading and adopt Resolution 6832, <br />an Off Sale Intoxicating Liquor License Renewal for Vino & Stogies located at 2345 County <br />Road H2. <br />Councilmember Flaherty asked if the minor fire code issues have been addressed. Assistant to the <br />City Administrator Crane replied that the changes are pending and Vino & Stogies is working on <br />the situation. <br />Ayes - 3 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />F. Resolution 6833, an On Sale Intoxicating Liquor License Renewal for <br />• Robert's Sports Bar and Entertainment located at 2400 County Road H2. <br />Assistant to the City Administrator Crane stated that the City of Mounds View issued an <br />intoxicating liquor license to Robert's Sports Bar and Entertainment in June of 2005, and their <br />renewal is before the Council for consideration. She added that Robert's Sports Bar and <br />Entertainment's Intoxicating Liquor License will expire in June 30, 2006. <br />Assistant to the City Administrator Crane stated that Robert's Sports Bar and Entertainment has <br />submitted their City liquor license application materials and the applicable fees. She added that <br />Robert's Sports Bar and Entertainment owes Staff a Certificate of Liability Insurance and this <br />liquor license will not be issued until an original Certificate of Liability Insurance is received. <br />She stated a notice of this public hearing was sent out to residences within a 350 feet radius, and <br />the Notice of Public Hearing was published in the Mounds View/New Brighton Bulletin. <br />Assistant to the City Administrator Crane stated that the Mounds View Police Department has <br />issued a satisfactory Police Inquiry and Investigations report, and the Finance Department has <br />issued a satisfactory Utility Billing Inquiry report for the establishment. <br />Assistant to the City Administrator Crane stated that Staff recommends the City Council open the <br />Public Hearing for public comment and that Staff recommends approving Robert's Sports Bar <br />and Entertainment's application for an On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License pending a <br />• satisfactory inspection from the Mounds View Fire Marshal and receipt of the Certificate of <br />Liability Insurance.
