MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />3. ROLL CALL: Acting Mayor Stigney, Councilmember Gunn, Councilmember Flaherty, <br />and Councilmember Thomas. Mayor Marty arrived at 7:44 p.m. <br />NOT PRESENT: None. <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />• A. Monday, July 10, 2006 City Council Agenda <br />MOTION/SECOND: GUNN/FLAHERTY. To Approve the Monday, July 10, 2006 agenda as <br />presented. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />David Jhanke, 8428 Eastwood Road, asked what has been done regarding the Community Center <br />and additional RFPs. Administrator Ulrich stated the item is scheduled for the July 17~' Work <br />Session. <br />Mr. Jhanke asked if the Council has done anything to find out if there were any other potential <br />uses or if the City will go ahead and spend the money. Administrator Ulrich replied that Staff <br />has discussed other options. He added one party may be interested in renting space and there <br />may be another process, which will be discussed in more detail on the 17~'. <br />Councilmember Thomas stated there was not enough discussion time to determine a direction at <br />the last Council meeting and no direction has been given to Staff. <br />• Councilmember Flaherty added the Council decided to table the discussion until there was a full <br />Council at the work session to discuss whether there should be requests for more RFPs. <br />
