Mounds View City Council August 28, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 22 <br />• Finance Director Beer stated that presently, it is budgeted for the EDA fund and that he suggests <br />using TIF from district one for funding. Councilmember Flaherty suggested the resolution be <br />amended as such. <br />Mayor Marty asked about whom the subcommittee is made up of. Director Lee noted who was <br />on the committee. Mayor Marry asked to add Rick Wriskey as a prime consultant. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />M. Resolution 6931 Approving Change Order No. 35 for the City Hall <br />Rehabilitation Project <br />Director Lee noted that Change Order #5 was presented on June 26, and at that time the <br />estimated cost was $17,612, and the total now has gone down to $11,331. <br />Councilmember Stigney asked what the final estimate is for the City Hall. Lee stated that this <br />was included in the report and the actual cost of the change orders went down from what was <br />approved on June 26th, but the total went up because of the approval of the furniture at the last <br />meeting. <br />Director Lee stated the total for the rehab project was $1,543,194. <br />Councilmember Flaherty asked if this is the last change order. Director Lee stated there are four <br />items left. <br />Councilmember Stigney asked if the automated door opener is included. Director Lee responded <br />that it was included in the estimate. <br />MOTION/SECOND: THOMAS/FLAHERTY. To waive the reading and adopt Resolution 6931 <br />Approving Change Order No. 35 for the City Hall Rehabilitation Project. <br />Mayor Many asked about the addition of building address. He asked what happened to the old <br />address. Councilmember Thomas and Councilmember Gunn stated there were not numbers on <br />the hall previously. City Administrator Ulrich stated there were letters before the atrium was <br />added, but they have been gone for a while. <br />Mayor Marry asked about fixing the wall in the interview room. Director Lee stated the expense <br />was for fixing the wall and adding carpet in the interview room at the police department. <br />Councilmember Flaherty clarified that it was to cut the echo out of the room during interviews. <br />Councilmember Stigney asked about ASI57 and if there is currently lettering. Director Lee <br />stated it is inside the building. Councilmember Stigney asked if none of the cost is for the outside <br />lettering. Director Lee stated the City is still working with the consultant on that and the City <br />will not be paying for the letters outside. <br />
