Resolution 6928 Approving Change Order No. 1 for Hidden Hollow South - <br />Eztend Completion Date <br />Mayor Marty noted the change order was presented today, but the completion date was originally <br />supposed to be August 18. He asked why the change order was not presented to the Council <br />earlier. <br />Director Lee explained that it did not come back sooner because the change order was not <br />prepared until the last couple days. He stated the City and private contractor were working <br />together on a storm-sewer crossing and they id not have an exact date for completion. He stated <br />the date has now changed to September 29, and they did not want to finalize a date until they <br />knew their timeline. He noted the final completion date of August 5, 2007, has not changed. <br />Mayor Marty noted the third whereas, an asked if the extension date should be included in the <br />resolution. Director Lee stated it could be included, or could reference the date in the change <br />order. <br />MOTION/SECOND: MARTY/FLAHERTY. To waive the reading and adopt Resolution 6928 <br />Approving Change Order No. 1 for Hidden Hollow South -Extend Completion Date. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />H. Set a Public Hearing for October 9, 2006 at 7:25 pm to Consider the <br />Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance 780, an Ordinance Approving <br />Modifications to the City's Official Wetland Zoning District Maps <br />Director Ericson noted that the item is before the Council to set a public hearing to consider the <br />adoption of new wetland zoning maps, which requires going through ordinance process. He <br />explained that the process is very similar to zoning codes. He stated it would impact a large <br />number of properties and residents and it is important to notify residents in several different ways <br />and with any means possible. <br />Director Ericson summarized that the Council authorized a wetland inventory, which was <br />completed along with some mapping ha been completed and are before the City for approval. He <br />noted the current wetland maps are from the 1980s and may not correlate with current <br />developments. <br />
