Mounds View City Council October 23, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br />Director Ericson indicated that he is attempting to have Rice Creek Staff go out to the Johnson <br />property and review it for concurrence. <br />Ken Glidden of 5240 Edgewood Drive commended Jim for obtaining the GIS system for $2,500. <br />He then said that he questions whether Rice Creek maps are available through the GIS system of <br />the City. <br />Director Ericson indicated that Staff has been told that the Rice Creek maps are available to the <br />City but Staff does not have any of the files that they have and Staff is working on that. <br />Mayor Marty closed the public hearing. <br />Council Member Thomas said that there is no information on Hidden Hollow and that is a <br />question she has as to whether something needs to be reflected for what was put in for wetland <br />mitigation. <br />Director Ericson said that he agrees with Council Member Thomas and said that if the City is <br />aware of a wetland that is out there then it needs to be added to the wetland maps. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Thomas. To Waive the Reading and Approve the Introduction <br />and First Reading of Ordinance 780, an Ordinance Approving Modifications to the Official City <br />Wetland Zoning District Maps as Amended. <br />Mayor Marty thanked Staff for putting this together and bringing it forward for clarification. He <br />then said that he would like to obtain the information back from Rice Creek to resolve the <br />questions along Long Lake Road. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />B. Ordinance 782, an Ordinance Amending Section 7.10 of the Mounds View <br />City Charter Referring to City Indebtedness <br />Mayor Marry noted that this hearing will be postponed to the December 11, 2006 City Council <br />Meeting. <br />City Attorney Riggs indicated that if it will be re-noticed, then there is no need to open and table <br />to the December 11, 2006 meeting. <br />C. Non-Renewal of Multiple Dwelling Rental License at 5701 Quincy Street, <br />Resolution 6954 <br />Housing Inspector Jeremiah Anderson explained that there are regulations for operating and <br />licensing multiple dwellings in the City and Chapter 1012 requires that properties with two or <br />more units obtain a license and that requires regular inspection. He then said that Staff spoke to <br />the tenants of the building for an inspection and noted there were some violation of the City's <br />
