Mounds View City Council December 11, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 23 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Thomas. To Approve the November 27, 2006 Minutes as <br />Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council <br />Mayor Many indicated that Irondale had a Youth and Government Meeting tonight from 6:00 <br />p.m. to 8:00 p.m. that he was unable to attend. <br />Mayor Marry thanked Council Members Thomas and Gunn for their work and service to the City <br />during their terms in office. <br />Mayor Marty indicated that the Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />have openings and the deadline to apply is December 15, 2006 applications are available online <br />and at City Hall. He then announced that there will not be a Council Meeting on Tuesday, <br />December 26, 2006. <br />Council Member Thomas thanked residents and Staff for the privilege and challenge of working <br />for and with the City. <br />Council Member Gunn thanked everyone for their assistance while she was on Council. <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he has enjoyed working with Council Members Gunn <br />and Thomas and said he will miss working with them. <br />Council Member Flaherty thanked Council Members Gunn and Thomas for their guidance and <br />assistance as he began on Council. <br />Mayor Marty thanked Council Members Gunn and Thomas for their work for the City. <br />Council Member Thomas wished the incoming Council Members the best of luck. <br />Mayor Marty wished everyone a Happy Holiday season. <br />B. Reports of Staff <br />City Administrator Ulrich thanked Council Members Gunn and Thomas on behalf of the Staff <br />and said that he has enjoyed working with them. <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that the play structure is being installed at the Community <br />Center this week and it should be ready for the holiday break. <br />
