Report of Attorney <br />1982, the law authorizes City's to prosecute all <br />gross misdemeanors, which will involve a great <br />deal of time on the part of the police officers <br />and City Attorney. <br />Councilmember Doty had no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard reported she had attended <br />the League of Cities conference in Rochester, and <br />felt it was very informative. She also felt that <br />Mounds View was very progressive in the steps <br />they are taking now. <br />Councilmember Hodges reported the Youth Service <br />ireau had left their budget the same as last <br />,ear. He added they will be moving to the <br />Edgewood Community Center. <br />Councilmember Hodges read a notice of Zak <br />MacRunnels, who will be awarded as an Eagle <br />Scout on July 14. <br />Councilmember Forslund reported she would be <br />on vacation next week. <br />Mayor McCarty reported he had received the <br />annual report from the School District. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the <br />Jaycee's would not be holding their rodeo. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the <br />Council was invited to the grand opening drawing <br />of the First State Bank of New Brighton, <br />on July 1 at 4 PM. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley presented the <br />Council with a memo from Park Director Anderson, <br />commending payment for the turf establishment <br />_ Silver View Park, with a retainage being <br />held. <br />10.
