MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: John Johnson, Director of Public Works/Community <br />Development <br />DATE: July 28, 1982 <br />SUBJECT: TYSON WAREHOUSE/DISTRIBUTION CENTER OCCUPANCY <br />The Tyson Warehouse/Distribution Center on Mustang Circle is <br />near completion. It appears they will ask for a temporary <br />occupancy to begin operation in their distribution center some- <br />time between August 15 and the first part of September. If the <br />building is acceptable from a Building Code perspective, does <br />the Council want staff to issue a temporary occupancy? <br />The development agreement and security would not be released <br />until the entire building and project are completed at which <br />time Council would approve the occupancy permit. <br />JCJ/bc <br />
