"c/ ," 7 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 316 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />BY AMENDING CHAPTER 40.02, ZONING, RULES AND <br />DEFINITIONS, AND CHAPTER 40.06, ZONING, AREA <br />AND BUILDING SIZE REGULATIONS <br />The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain: <br />SECTION I. Chapter 40.02, Subdivision B, DEFINITIONS, is hereby <br />amended by adding the following new paragraph and renumbering and <br />rearranging all paragraphs of Chapter 40.02, Subdivision B, into <br />alphabetical order: <br />(68) Manufactured Home. A manufactured home is one that is <br />defined by Minnesota Statutes, 327. <br />SECTION II. Chapter 40.06. Area and Building Size Regulations <br />shall be amended by adding the following: <br />Subd. F Building Design Standards. <br />(1) The length of all residential structures in R-1 zones <br />shall not exceed three (3) times the width, excluding <br />garage. <br />(2) A permanent foundation of concrete, concrete block, <br />or wood and anchoring system as approved by the <br />Uniform Building Code, Chapter 29, is required for <br />all P,-1 residential structures with frost footings of <br />at least a 42-inch depth below grade. <br />(3) All residential structures in R-1 zones, including <br />manufactured homes, must comply with the State Building <br />Code for single family homes. <br />(4) All manufactured homes shall have available for inspec- <br />tion, manufacturer's instructions specifying how said <br />home is to be situated on a permanent foundation. <br />(5) Unless located in a designated mobile home park, all <br />mobile homes or manufactured homes shall comply with the <br />provisions of this Code, as amended from time to time. <br />SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after <br />the date of its publication. <br />
