Motion/Second: McCarty/Hankner to approve the hiring of Donald Matanowski and Nick Barbato, as summer park maintenance laborers at the rate of $5.50 and $5.00 per hour, respectively, effective May 31, 1983. 4 ayes 0 nays Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained that the memo dated June 9, 1983 from Park Director Anderson was just an update for the Council on the composting proposal. Workers Motion Carri Consideration of Memo from Director of Parks, Red and Forestry Regar ing Update on Compost Prograi Director Johnson reviewed his memo of June 9, 1983 10. Report of to the Council, providing an update on special pub- Director of lic works projects. He reported there has been a Public Works/ great deal of activity in special projects, and he Community Dvlp has utilized the budgeted hours that were set aside for 1983. Director Johnson reviewed the status of the budgeted hours and dollars. Clerk/Administrator Paulev stated he would provide the Council with a specific recommen- dation on how to proceed to further provide additional service time from Director Johnson. Director Johnson asked the Council's consideration of proposed Resolution No. 1619, for the Dalberg Develop- ment proposal, so they could proceed. Motion/Second: McCarty/Hankner to adopt Resolution Ro 16IT an- —waive the reading. 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried
