Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />Director Johnson reported Well #6 had been televised <br />and appears to be in good condition, <br />Director Johnson reported the Edgewood Square develop- <br />ment started today, and they hope to be finished with <br />the installation of services within three weeks. Knoll - <br />wood Green has also started. <br />Director Johnson reported he will be attending a seminar <br />in Madison next week. <br />Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />Councilmember Linke reported he had been in contact <br />with the City of Spring Lake Park regarding the <br />proposed traffic light for Pleasant View and Highway <br />10. He reported they are looking for conceptual <br />approval and reviewed the tentative figures he <br />had been given on the costs involved, and where <br />the funds were to come from, with Mounds View's <br />share to be approximately $7,463, not including <br />operational costs. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the Highway <br />Department will be holding a public hearing and <br />recommended the City notify those residents who <br />would be involved. <br />Mayor McCarty recommended the matter be referred <br />to the Planning Commission. Councilmember Linke <br />pointed out that the final decision will be with <br />the Council and asked if the expenditure would be <br />approved by the City. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to authorize Council- <br />men er in a to take the Pleasant View/Highway 10 <br />signal proposal from Spring Lake Park to the <br />Planning Commission and, working with the liason, <br />Councilmember Blanchard, further determine the <br />disposition of the matter. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second: Doty/McCarty to amend the previous <br />motion to include that the property owners directly <br />impacted in the City of Mounds View by this proposal, <br />be notified of the plans that have been discussed, <br />so they know exactly where they are at right now. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />May 9, 1983 <br />Page Nine <br />W <br />12.
